After Highschool I went to JSU for a couple of years and then to the University of Alabama for a couple more. After graduating with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and completing the ROTC program, I was received my commission and spent the next nine years as a pilot for the United States Air Force. During that time I met my wife, Lisa, and we were married. We have three great daughters and one great dog. I left the Air Force in 1999 and have been a pilot for American Airlines ever since.
